Hope Deliverance Temple was built on faith, we know that all things are possible if you have faith in God. As one big family in Christ, we are committed to Bible teaching and joyful worship. Children, Youth, and Adults of all ages are ministered to and given opportunities to serve the Lord by serving others.

 

Hope Deliverance Temple was founded by the late pastor Charles A. Tanner.  Tanners vision was to bring hope to the hopeless and offer salvation to the lost. God gave tanner the vision and the how-to, in order to build his very first church in 1973. He started out in a small storefront church located at 2812 East 4th St., where it currently still stands. The church was later remodeled and built to its current design today. Throughout Tanner's ministry, God had blessed him to have built two more churches, Hope Deliverance Temple # 2 located in Amarillo Texas, and Hope Deliverance Temple # 3 located in Lawton Oklahoma. In 2006 God gave Tanner another version which was the Hallie Shepherd Prayer Tower open to those who love to pray and to those who needed prayer. Tanner had traveled across the country preaching on faith. He stood firm on his faith and because of his faith God had blessed him to achieve so much. He was a true testimony of what God can do and will do for you.

 

Tanner's legacy and visions still live on at Hope Deliverance Temple. Through our members, his family, and his beloved friends. As a church, we have much to offer and much love to give. We invite you and your family to come out and worship with us, with open arms we welcome all.
